Alexander Technique Lessons
The Alexander Technique has many physical and non-physical benefits, backed by scientific evidence. I’ll help you take a look at your everyday activities and see where you want to improve. Through a mix of verbal and gentle hands-on guidance, we’ll explore how to bring more freedom, ease, and refinement to everything you do, including but not limited to: how you do your work, physical skills, recreational activities, and the parts of life we have on automatic.
I teach via the Interactive Teaching Method, which is a unique approach that emphasizes the importance of thinking when we look at how and why we're moving/behaving the way we do.

ITM Alexander Technique lessons are student-led and teacher-directed. We work in activity, meaning each lesson focuses on learning through doing — whether that’s walking, playing an instrument, picking up your child, or anything else.
Sliding scale options are available for BIPOC, artists, and people with chronic illness. I’m committed to making lessons accessible — if cost is a concern, please reach out so we can find a solution together

Introductory Lesson
Your Alexander Technique journey will start with the Introductory Lesson (lecture + lesson while sitting) in order to get a frame of reference for the work: a little bit of history, key ideas, and your first lesson experiences.

Group Classes
Group lessons are unique to the ITM approach. We believe it increases the amount of learning in a session, creates a community, and is a lot more fun. We will meet in a Midtown studio. Class size is limited.

One on One Lessons
If you aren't yet comfortable with the idea of working in front of others or your schedule is always in flux, that's ok! I offer private lessons as well, in 30 min increments. Packages and one-offs are available, as are location options.

Workshops
Sometimes the most effective way to jump start your Alexander Technique journey is to attend a longer workshop. These are entirely customizable, according to your needs. They all begin with an Introductory Lesson and then we go from there.
Time: 1+ days
Unsure if this work is for you?
Shoot me an email on my contact page. I believe in meeting students where they are, and not everyone is ready to begin this work the first time they hear about it. Change can be scary! But it can also be a liberating, joyous thing that makes you feel 10x better.
